Mintaka I is a robust and versatile DP1 Survey & ROV Vessel, proudly chartered by A-2-Sea Solutions.

Mintaka provides a substantial working platform for a multitude of survey tasks and is perfectly suited to geophysical and geotechnical surveys, environmental campaigns, and ROV inspection surveys.

30 days

Mobilised with the latest industry-leading survey technology

Mintaka boasts a high-specification survey spread that includes a Kongsberg EM2040-04, dual-head, dual-swath multibeam echosounder. This system is capable of acquiring data at survey speeds up to 10 knots and offers a selectable frequency range of 200kHz to 400kHz and up to 1600 soundings per ping.

The system is integrated with an Applanix POSMV OceanMaster GNSS-aided inertial navigation system. The hydrographic survey management system in use is QPS QINSy, which combines the GNSS navigation solution with geophysical survey equipment to geo-reference the survey data acquired.

With approximately 100 square meters of free deck space, Mintaka is ideally suited for geophysical, geotechnical, and ROV campaigns.
