Mintaka's Charter Extended Until Q4 2024

Following a series of successful survey campaigns during 2023, we are delighted to announce that A-2-Sea has extended the charter DP1 Survey & ROV Vessel, Mintaka I, until at least October 2024.

Mintaka is a versatile vessel refurbished in 2009, capable of comfortably accommodating up to 26 people on board. With an overall length (LOA) of 40m and ample working deck space, it is perfectly suited for geophysical survey, ROV, and geotechnical/environmental campaigns.

A-2-Sea has equipped Mintaka with a high-specification suite of survey and positioning equipment, including a Kongsberg EM2040-04, dual-head, dual-swath multibeam echosounder. This advanced system enables the acquisition of high-quality survey data, reinforcing A-2-Sea's commitment to delivering innovative marine survey solutions.

"Mintaka has proven itself as a dependable vessel for our diverse project requirements," says Ross Taylor, Managing Director of A-2-Sea Solutions. "As we look ahead to 2024, Mintaka will continue to play a pivotal role in our operations, supporting our goal of delivering high-quality marine survey data to our clients."

In addition to its state-of-the-art survey equipment, Mintaka features an aft A-frame, a geophysical winch, a Hydralift deck crane, and a side A-frame/LARS capable of handling a 1.5 ton ROV + TMS, further enhancing its operational capabilities.
