A-2 Sea achieves Silver Sustainability verification with SafeContractor
A-2 Sea has been awarded Silver Sustainability certification by SafeContractor – one of the UK’s leading accreditation schemes.
Alcumus SafeContractor is a leading third-party accreditation scheme which recognises extremely rigorous standards in health and safety management amongst contractors. It is used by thousands of organisations in the UK including SMEs and FTSE 100 companies.
The certification underlines the A-2-Sea's dedication to sustainable business practices. In order to achieve Silver Sustainability status, the company needed to demonstrate a number of key areas of environmental and social responsibility including energy efficiency, waste management, supply chain engagement and employee welfare.
A-2-Sea has taken a number of steps to reduce its environmental impact and embed sustainability into all aspects of its business. Its commitment to sustainable business practices was also recognised in 2021 with the achievement of a Silver EcoVadis sustainability rating.
A-2 Sea’s Managing Director, Ross Taylor, said:
“We are delighted to have been awarded Silver Sustainability certification by SafeContractor. This is further recognition of our commitment to sustainable business practices and ensuring the health and safety of our employees, contractors and the communities in which we operate.
We are proud to have achieved this award and will continue working hard to maintain our high standards."
